Fondue Night

cheese, wine and bread

So this weekend we decided to just take it easy and have a fondue night (one of our fav food passtimes). We got some moves and went with a recipie that we used a lot, but, upon stumbling upon a beer that I actally liked (i know, i thought the day would never come) we decided to throw that into the mix.

RECIPIE:

1 cup swiss
2 cups cheddar
1tsp black pepper
1tb corn startch
a dash or two of worshdishire
1 cup Hornsby's Hard Cider Beer (a cider beer)

Put Cider in sause pan, bring to a simmer, add shredded cheese AFTER it has been tossed with the pepper and corn starch. Add Worshdishire sauce to taste, and serve with desired item :)

We like to serve it with bread, this time was a french bagete, if its a softer breat than after cutting it into cubs, we throw it in the oven for a tad to toast it. Also good with pretzels, Brocclie, colieflower, or apple slices.

Its really easy and really tasety!!!
